Darcy’s background in Natural Science and Art Education has formed her understanding and relationship with the natural world, as much as living and moving in urban settings has influenced her creative style, always setting the way for an adventurous new path forward.

Prints are made using plaques, manhole covers, etc., and may be merged with block prints of graffiti, and original work to create a unique design. The primary prints with words form reverse lettering, so in keeping with this integrity, it lends itself to the unexpected.

In practicing to abandon the stressful notion of perfectionism, the aesthetics are more wabi-sabi; relaxed, asymmetrical, rough, and simple. Mistakes happen, we are just flowing, growing, and adapting. These textiles are a welcoming embrace of imperfection in our daily lives.

Our pallet begins using organic hemp, cotton, and linen kitchen/studio towels. We have several designs in the works as it is our hope to grow organically, and expand urbanely.

Our textiles are hand-painted/printed, and silkscreened using water-based inks on sustained organic and/or recycled materials, and meet GOTS, Blue Sign, Oeko-Tex, or ISO 9001-Q International standards.

These durable, long-lasting fabrics will soften, and become more absorbent over multiple washes. The raw hem will naturally fray to create a well-worn appeal, and add to the fun in the kitchen, studio, or wherever you choose to use the product, making it your very own. Some towels offer the choice between regular or inverted writing. The inverted lettering maintains the integrity of the original print. Variations may occur.
